Great site! Just wish it had a history. Sometime I have a problem finding recipes I saw earlier and didnt save. But very good app!

Very very slow be laggy. Cant log in. Cant create account. Tried reinstalling, still doesnt work.

Update 4/9/2016: After a few years its still my favorite go to app for everything recipe related. My past review: This app is great. Put in the recipe name and add or delete ingredients you have on hand or want excluded, do a search and voila it tries to find (and usually does) a variation to suit your needs. Many other great features.

Big Oven is my go-to app to try new recipes! I always find something great, and have great cooking experiences! The minus 1, no nutritional value without upgrading the app. In a hyper vigilant health and wellness society, Im surprised nutritional value isnt just a part of every recipe.

Ive used the BigOven app for a while now and really like it, however, there is one minor change which would greatly aid in my ease of using the app. I am color blind, and cannot tell when the app has filed a recipe under "try" or "favorite" because I cannot see the color change (which I presume is black to red). I suggest that instead the icons colors invert, so the box is then black/red and the symbol is white. This would greatly help vision-impaired persons. Thanks!

I love this app because I can look for recipes, plan what day I will make it and make a shopping list all in the same app. You can add recipes from other websites - this is not super easy but if you are patient you can get it done. You can also add other items to your shopping list besides what is on the recipe. I have one shopping list- categorized by department. And if I cant remember what Im making for dinner I just look at my meal planner. I can change or add to it at any time. I highly recommend this app.

Absolutely love this app! So many recipe ideas, I especially like reading peoples reviews and comments. I really utilize the favorites feature for quick reference.

This app has helped me build my portfolio for school! Love it love it. Especially being able to search for recipes that use whatevers in my fridge

I cant live without this app. It has a huge database and recipes in every category you can think of. You can find recipes with varying degrees of difficulty and great reviews.
